Since 2019, we have worked to develop and mainstream assessment and monitoring procedures into our reforestation projects that are aimed at meeting existing national and international carbon offset verification standards.

At CCS, we are immersed in the quickly evolving carbon landscape and are always looking for opportunities for projects that simultaneously benefit the environment, our partners, and other stakeholders.

British Columbia is in the final stages of the development of the Forest Carbon Offset Protocol (FCOP) that will compensate for long-term carbon sequestration through forest planning initiatives. FCOP will provide the structure for a standardized provincial carbon economy as well as provide assurance and credibility to the carbon credits generated within it.

At this time, we await a finalized protocol before offering these services.
