In the fall of 2020, Zanzibar Holdings partnered with OneTreePlanted and DroneSeed for a pilot project to test out using small biodegradable seed pucks for reforestation. These pucks were placed in areas impacted by the 2017 wildfires in the Chilcotin forest region.
